Martin Abromovitch was the type of guy most people rarely encountered. He worked at an Ad Agency as a copywriter. He wrote memorable lines for ads, that were never attributed to him but had become part of cultural history. He minded his own business and most interacted with his Creative Director at work. He minded his own business and was friendly but not a party type of guy.
Marty was thirty and never complained about anything. He seemed to be in a constant state of being in a good mood and he never participated in office politics. He bought nice presents when he was a Secret Santa and he kept his private life to himself.
It wasn’t until the Agency changed ownership that things started to get weird at the firm. Uni World Advertising was purchased by DXI International in a hostile stock takeover. The Managing Partners of the Agency made sure that all the employees benefited financially when the deal closed.
