The phone rang at eight pm while Alan Baruch was finishing dinner with his girlfriend. They were sitting on the patio at Sassafras in Yorkville, and when the call finished Alan let out a little yell of delight. ‘’Honey, I have news. Netflix liked our script and they’ve given the green light for production. I go to LA next week, meet with their people and then we’re off and running.’’ Heather Kahn started to cry. As Alan prepared to head out to LA, he received a call from his Agent, Lynda Goodall. ‘’Alan I feel so bad, when we booked your flight for some reason we didn’t get you First Class both ways. If you want to to delay your flight for a few hours we’ll fix the problem. I know you probably don’t want to fly economy. I’m so sorry.’’ Alan laughed ‘’Lynda, may that be the biggest problem I ever have to deal with. I’m good.’’ Lynda sounded relieved when she answered. ‘’You’re booked First Class when you go back to Toronto. We’ll be at LAX waiting to take you to your hotel when you arrive. Have a safe flight.’’

Alan and Heather kissed and his Uber drove him to Pearson Airport. He checked in and walked to his Gate in Terminal One. He was flying Air…
