There are certain people I don’t want to follow me on Medium
It’s tough but you have to be able to look at yourself in the mirror
I’m probably the least controversial person you’ll ever meet in your life. I enjoy every second of every minute of every day of every week of the year. I strive to find the positive and live as upbeat a life as possible.
One of my passions is writing short stories and I’ve really enjoyed using Medium as my platform for doing it. I write stories about all kinds of things and I’d suggest that ninety percent of them are fiction.
When I write non-fiction it’s about things that impact or effect my life. I am extremely grateful when people take the time to comment on my stories or follow me. However, I have a huge dilemma.
Years ago Richard Wagner wrote the opera the Ring Cycle. He was a well known anti-semite. who hated the Jews more than life. I could never listen to his music without remembering his unfounded and passionate hatred of the Jews. Coco Chanel the renowned fashion designer was a lover of Nazis. Ezra Pound hated the Jews with every fibre of his body. I used to enjoy the poetry of T.S. Eliot until I read one of his poems ‘’Burbank with a Baedeker: Bleistein with a Cigar,” which makes the most disgusting references to the Jewish people.
