The Misunderstanding and the Hooker…

It was 32 celsius and Willy Arman was hot. He had flown to Florida to complete a business deal with the Miami Marlins. His company had created a stop motion technique that translated arm movements of pitchers into an animated presentation that showed different points of release for maximum throwing strength.

It was a long complex and structured deal that required a lot of time to complete. Everybody and their brothers were getting into kinetics and analysis. The fact StopGo Pro had done the deal allowed for excitement as it made working with other pro teams a definite reality.

It was five o’clock when Willy left the Marlin’s offices. He stopped in Hallandale Beach for a slice of Pizza at his favourite place, Piola. After relaxing for a half hour he drove north to Hollywood and the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. He registered and went to a room in a tower shaped like a guitar. Willy had a one-night stay before heading back to Toronto.

Willy arranged a dinner that night with his friend Herschell Ostrepeller and his wife Rhonda. Hershey was running a Hedge fund in Miami and had become very big in the Crypto currency market. The friends were going to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe. It wasn’t glamorous but it would be fun. Willy knew it couldn’t be a long night as he had a demonstration the next morning at LoanDepot Part with the Marlin’s training staff and the Scouting department.

After taking a shower, Willy changed into casual clothes and headed downstairs to the gambling floor. He looked at his watch and saw he had an hour before dinner. There were all kinds of card tables but the majority were full. Willy finally found one that was open but the table limits were pretty high. Against his best judgment, he sat down at a twenty-five dollar Spanish 21 table. He pulled out two hundred dollars and hoped for the best.

Willy focused on the cards and got on a bit of a run, when a very attractive woman sat down beside him, ‘’Hi, my name’s Brandy. Looks like you’re doing very well.’’ Willy looked at the chips he had accumulated. ‘’I have had a little luck, but I feel luckier now with you sitting beside me.’’ Brandy smiled, ‘‘’ I feel like a Martini, what do you think?’’ Willy laughed, ‘’Go for it, whatever floats your boat.’’ Brandy reached over and put her hand on Willy’s…
