Never underestimate a good Ass
Jeffrey Eisen was sound asleep when his phone started to ring. He and his wife Tamara had moved to the country (They had built a custom home on one hundred and twenty five acres) and because he wanted to keep every thing agricultural for tax purposes, he had bought twelve holstein heifers, twenty lambs and fifteen goats.
When he answered the phone if was Milton Frobisher. ‘’Hi Jeffrey, I went out to do chores and I saw a pack of Coyotes heading for your pasture. I’d grab my gun and get out there, cause they could be doing some serious damage to your animals.’’
Jeffrey lifted his head on one elbow and shook it vigourously. ‘’Milton, I don’t own a gun. I can’t stop Coyotes. What am I going to do?’’ Milton guffawed on the other end of the line. ‘’If you want to be a farmer, you’re going to have to get a gun license and get yourself a thirty thirty. I can send my son Lester over and he’ll shoot the Coyotes and bury them, but it’ll cost you a hundred bucks a Coyo.’’ Jeffrey thought about it for a second and realized he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. ‘’Okay, tell Lester to do what he’s got to do, and I’ll head out to the pasture and wait for him.’’
