Dating has challenges, especially blind dates

Herschell Ostrepeller was so nervous he felt like throwing up. He was twenty three years old and he had recently broken up with Lisa Mantel who he had been involved with for two years.

Lisa had given Herschell an ultimatum regarding their relationship, ‘’Either shit or get off the pot.’’ She wanted to get engaged and he didn’t think he was ready. He honestly didn’t even know if she was the right woman to spend his life with.

He had gone on JDate and met a woman named Lisa Fleishman. Another Lisa, it was a bit disconcerting but he knew even though it was the same first name, the woman he was meeting was not his ex.

They chose Earl’s Tin Palace for the date. They would meet there and have a bite and drinks. Herschell arrived early and was shown to a table near the bar. It wasn’t ideal, but it faced the door, so he could see when his date walked in.

Herschell went to the bathroom and after pishing, he checked himself out in the mirror. He was wearing a black tee shirt and jeans. He worked out three times a week, so his body was in good shape. His hair probably could have used a cut, but his moustache was well trimmed. He thought about taking off his glasses but he always wore them, why should he change his appearance.
