Civilization is in Real Danger…The Return of the Nazi Mentality as demonstrated by the Taliban…

As advanced as we are as a society, we seem to be heading back to Medieval times. The recent victory of the Taliban over all of Afghanistan is a cautionary tale that reminds us that nobody’s future is secure.

I have always and will always be a supporter of Israel. It is a country in the Middle East the actively fights to protect the rights of minorities, homosexuals, men women and children. The soldiers of the IDF have a moral code instilled in them, and if they deviate from that code they face severe consequences for their actions.

It is astonishing and amazing that the outspoken critics of Israel have not publicly demonstrated against the Taliban or written Op Ed pieces about the way a totalitarian army has seized power in a nascent democracy.

I watched in amazement as the leader of the free world, blamed the Afghan people for their miserable situation. Can you say denial. Yes the United States was in Afghanistan for many years, but they served a role in helping to advance women and building a democracy. Rome wasn’t built in a day and nothing as profound as dramatic change can happen in a couple of decades, at least those who would rule without mercy and an iron fist like the Taliban were held at bay.
